Module, Transmission Control: Removal: Removal

NOTE: This procedure is for the Aisin Transmission Control Module (TCM). The TCM is located in the passenger compartment, underneath the left side of the dash panel. No panels need be removed to access and remove the TCM
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Fig 1: TCM and Brackets

  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) from the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
  4. Remove retaining bolts securing the TSM bracket (2).
  5. Remove the TCM and bracket from the vehicle.
  6. Separate the TCM from the bracket.
