Diagnostic Test

- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC NOTE:
Diagnose any Communication DTCs before continuing.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
- Cycle the ignition off for 30 seconds, and then back on.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
Is the DTC active or pending?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- CHECK FOR COMMUNICATION DTCS PRESENT
Are the U110F or U1411 DTCs present in the PCM?
Yes
- Diagnose and repair those DTCs.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Diagnose the appropriate Fuel Level Sensor 2 Circuit DTC in the BCM. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - 2500 HD & 3500 HD .
