The Input and Output Speed Sensors are two-wire magnetic pickup devices that generate DC square wave signals as rotation occurs. The output speed sensor (4) is mounted on the left side of the transmission case. The input speed sensor is mounted within the transmission case under the valve body. The speed sensors are considered primary inputs to the Transmission Control Module (TCM).
