Tube, Fuel Tank Filler: Installation: Installation

Fig 1: Remove/Install Filler Tube

Position the filler tube (1) to the fuel tank filler hose (3).
Hand tighten the hose clamp (2).
Install the fuel breather tube (6) to the tank pressure sensor (4).

Install the filler tube (3) to filler tube bracket bolt (4). Tighten the to 12 N.m (106 in. lbs.).
Install the screw (5) for the ground strap. Tighten the to 5 N.m (44 in. lbs.).
Lower the vehicle.

Position the filler tube through the filler tube housing rubber grommet (3).
Install the cap-less housing (1) into the filler tube (2).
Twist the cap-less housing clockwise to lock into position.

Install the support plate (2) onto the lockout housing (1).
Snap the locking tab cover onto the housing.
