Valve, Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR) Airflow Control: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover (1).

  3. Remove the intake manifold silencer (2).

  4. Disconnect the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) hose (1) from the EGR air flow control valve (2).
  5. Disconnect the EGR airflow control valve harness connector.

  6. Disconnect the inlet air temperature sensor wire harness connector (1).

  7. Remove the nut (3) and the fuel manifold (4).

  8. Remove the bolts (1) and the EGR airflow control valve (2).
