On the 3.0L engine and the 3.6L engine there is an electric vacuum pump (1) located on the left front of the engine. The vacuum pump (1) has one electrical connector. The vacuum pump (1) mounts to the bracket with two rubber insulated studs to reduce vibration, and the bracket mounts to the timing cover with two bolts and a nut. The vacuum hose has a quick-connect type end (2) with a locking tab.
