Right Fuel Rail

WARNING:

No sparks, open flames or smoking. Risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel. Risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel. Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. Wear protective clothing.

  1. Install the fuel rail. Using the (special tool #2025400090, Remover-Installer, Fuel Rail Bolt) (1), tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).

  2. Connect the fuel pressure sensor harness connector (1).
    NOTE:

    The fuel tubes must be replaced anytime they are removed.

  3. Install the NEW  fuel tubes. Refer to TUBE(S), FUEL, INSTALLATION .
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Start the engine, allow the engine to warm, turn the engine off and inspect for leaks.
