Gas - Left Side

  1. If the battery tray is new, transfer the battery spacer from the old tray to the new tray.
  2. Seat the battery tray for installation.

  3. Install the two lower battery tray bolts (1).
  4. Install the left front wheelhouse splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, INSTALLATION .

  5. Install four bolts (1) securing the battery tray to the fender wall.

  6. Install the three bolts (2) and remove the support bracket (1) behind the headlight.

  7. Install the radiator cover by removing two clips (1).

  8. Install the wire harness retainers (1) to the battery tray assembly including those in the PDC portion of the tray.

  9. Install the clips (1) at the PDC base.

  10. Clip all wiring harness wire hold downs (1) on the battery tray. There are 6 hold downs.

  11. Install the B+ cable bolt (1) at the PDC.
  12. Install the battery. Refer to BATTERY, INSTALLATION .
