Lamp - Cab And Chassis

- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Disconnect the rear lamp unit pigtail wire connector (2) from the chassis wire harness connector for the rear lamp at the back of the rear frame crossmember (1).
- Disengage the rear lamp unit pigtail wire and connector from the rear frame rail.
- Remove the two nuts (6) that secure the studs on the rear lamp unit housing (3) to the lamp mounting bracket (5) on the rear frame rail.
- For the left side lamp only, remove the license plate mounting bracket (4) from the rear lamp unit studs.
- Remove the rear lamp unit from the mounting bracket while feeding the pigtail wire and connector through the bracket.
