Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR OTHER DTCS
1. Ignition on, engine not running.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Are there any other DTCs related to Fuel Pressure?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the diagnostics for those DTCs before proceeding with this one.
  No
  - Go To 2
CHECK FOR ACTIVE DTC
1. With the scan tool, record all Freeze frame data.
2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. With scan tool, verify that the fuel level is above 15%. If not, add fuel.
4. Start the engine and allow it to run until the coolant temperature is above 140 degrees F.
  NOTE:
  It is important that the conditions in Steps 3 and 4 are met for the test to function properly.
5. Test drive the vehicle at 50 mph and perform a zero fueling event (decel condition for 10 seconds, with foot off accelerator pedal). Repeat 10-12 times.
6. With the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Did DTC P026B reset?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 3
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
CHECK THE FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM
1. Refer to CHECKING THE FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM and perform the CHECKING THE FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM diagnostic procedure.
  Were any problems found?
  
  Yes
  - Repairs are complete.
  - Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
