Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR ACTIVE DTCS
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, View DTCs.
Is the DTC active?
Yes
- This is an information-only DTC and indicates an engine power derate has been implemented. Repair all other active DTCs present.NOTE:
This information-only DTC may not immediately clear after repairs to other DTCs are completed. Flash the PCM even if it's updated to the latest calibration level. This will complete the clearing of this information-only DTC.
- Perform the POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- This is an information-only DTC and indicates an engine power derate has been implemented. Repair all other active DTCs present.
