When Monitored
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 RAM 3500 HD and 2019 RAM 2500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:
- First Diagnostic:
At ignition on, engine not running, after an 8 hour cold soak. The ambient air temperature must also be above -6.7°C (20°F).
- Second Diagnostic:
After a PM Sensor regeneration event and the PM Sensor has transitioned into measurement mode, and vehicle speed is above 3 MPH. A regeneration event will occur when the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1/5 (SCR Catalyst Outlet) reading goes above 200°C (392°F), and there are no other PM Sensor related DTCs. The ambient air temperature must also be above -6.7°C (20°F). A steady state drive cycle will run this diagnostic.
