When Monitored
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 RAM 3500 HD and 2019 RAM 2500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- First Diagnostic:
After a PM Sensor regeneration event and the PM Sensor has transitioned into measurement mode. A regeneration event will occur when the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1/5 (SCR Catalyst Outlet) reading goes above 200°C (392°F), and there are no other PM Sensor related DTCs. The ambient air temperature must also be above -6.7°C (20°F). A steady state drive cycle will run this diagnostic.
- Second Diagnostic:
Ignition on, and the PM Sensor heater is off or powering up. During power up, the PM Sensor probe temperature must be above -30°C (-22°F) and below 150°C (302°F). The power up diagnostic will only run once per drive cycle.
