This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

After a successful regeneration event of the PM Sensor Probe measuring electrodes and the sensor transitions into measurement mode. The ambient air temperature must also be above -6.7°C (20°F). A regeneration event will occur when the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1/5 (SCR Catalyst Outlet) reading goes above 200°C (392°F), and there are no other PM Sensor related DTCs. A steady state drive cycle will run this diagnostic.
