Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC)

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read Transmission Control Module (TCM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
Is this DTC active?

Yes
- Perform the NO RESPONSE FROM ECU diagnostic procedure. Refer to NO RESPONSE FROM ECU .
No
- Perform the STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS diagnostic procedure. Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS .
