Removal And Installation

REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the right battery tray. Refer to TRAY, BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Disconnect the coolant level sensor wire harness connector (2).
- Remove the lower coolant hose (1) from coolant recovery bottle.
- Remove the pressurized coolant bottle lower nut (1).
- Remove the A/C line support bracket bolt (1).
- Unlock and remove the A/C line support bracket (2).
- Remove the two nuts (1) and position the pressurized coolant recovery bottle (2) forward to gain access to hose clamps.
- De-attach the two coolant hose retainers (1 and 3) from the pressurized coolant bottle.
- Using the hose clamp pliers (special tool #10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp), remove the two coolant hoses (2) and the coolant bottle.
INSTALLATION
- Using the hose clamp pliers (2) (special tool #10288, Pliers, Hose Clamp) install the two coolant hose (2) onto the coolant bottle.
- Attach the two coolant hose retainers (1 and 3).
- Install the pressurized coolant bottle (2) and tighten the two nuts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Install the A/C line support bracket (2) and engage the lock.
- Install the A/C line support bracket bolt (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Install the pressurized coolant bottle lower nut (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Install the lower coolant hose (1) to the pressurized coolant bottle.
- Connect the coolant level sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Install the right battery tray. Refer to TRAY, BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
