Removal And Installation

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Raise and support the vehicle, refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
3. Remove the wheelhouse splash shields, refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
4. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (1).

5. Remove the three bolts (1) from each side.

6. Remove the bumper assembly (2).

INSTALLATION

1. Position the bumper assembly (2) back onto the frame tips (1).

2. Install the three bolts (1) onto each side and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

3. Connect the wire harness connectors (1).
4. Install the wheelhouse splash shields, refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
5. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
