Removal And Installation

REMOVAL

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
  2. Using a (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, separate the switch and bezel assembly (2) from the instrument panel (1) and disconnect the wire harness connector (3).

  3. Release the four retaining tabs (1) and remove the switch (2) from the bezel (3).

INSTALLATION

  1. Install the switch (2) onto the bezel (3) and seat the four retaining tabs (1) fully.

  2. Connect the wire harness connector (3) and seat the switch and bezel assembly (2) into the instrument panel (1) fully.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
