Removal And Installation

CAUTION:

Do not contaminate the bulb glass by touching it with your fingers or by allowing it to contact other oily surfaces. Shortened bulb life will result.

NOTE:

High beam bulb and inboard turn signal bulb can be accessed from the Engine Compartment without removing the headlamp assembly.

NOTE:

For vehicles equipped with Light Emitting Diode (LED) turn signal units, the LED is not serviceable separately, Refer to UNIT, FRONT LAMP, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

REMOVAL

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .

If removing the outboard turn signal bulb, remove push pin (3) and access panel (2) from front wheelhouse splash shield (1).

Twist the bulb (2) counter clockwise.

Remove the bulb (2) from the lamp unit (1).

INSTALLATION

Install the bulb into the lamp unit.
Seat the turn signal bulb by rotating the bulb clockwise to secure.
If removed install front wheelhouse shield access panel.
Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT .
