Removal And Installation

REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 6.7L

- Disconnect the exhaust pressure sensor wire harness connector (2).
- Disconnect the EGR cooler bypass valve wire harness connector (1).
- Disconnect the crankcase pressure sensor 2 wire harness connector (1).
- Disconnect crankcase pressure sensor 1 wire harness connector (7).
- Disconnect both fuel injector harness connectors (1).
- Position the engine harness to the side to allow clear access to the fuel rail noise cover.
- Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Remove the CCV oil drains hose (1, 2) from cylinder head cover.
- Remove the fuel rail noise silencer (1).
INSTALLATION
- Install the fuel rail noise silencer (1).
- Install the CCV oil drains hoses (1, 2) to cylinder head
- Connect the fuel pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Position the engine harness in original location.
- Connect both fuel injector wire harness connectors (1).
- Connect the crankcase pressure sensor 1 wire harness connector (7).
- Connect the crankcase pressure sensor 2 wire harness connector (1).
- Connect the EGR cooler bypass valve wire harness connector (1).
- Connect the exhaust pressure sensor wire harness connector (2).
- Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 6.7L .
- Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
