HVAC Verification Test

Perform the following procedures to verify that the repair(s) are valid.

Make sure that all accessories are turned off.
Make sure that the battery is fully charged.
Turn the ignition off to the lock position.
Disconnect all jumper wires and reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors.
With the scan tool, record and erase all DTC's from ALL modules.
Turn the ignition off, remove the scan tool from the DLC (Data Link Connector). Open the door and close the door. Wait a minimum 30 seconds, then turn the ignition on. Reconnect the scan tool.
NOTE:
Disconnecting the scan tool and opening and closing the door will allow the controller to enter into sleep mode.
With the scan tool perform the HVAC Actuator Calibration Test.
Start and run the engine for two minutes while operating all functions of the system that caused the original concern.
With the scan tool, check for DTC's in all modules.

Is the original condition still present or are there any other HVAC DTC's present?

Yes

Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.

Repair is complete.
