When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

• Enable Conditions for Circuit Leakage with All Electrovalves Switched Off: 
  • Ignition is on and all electrovalves are switched off.
  • The Electro Pump is switched off.
  • Hydraulic fluid temperature is between a min/max value.
  • Hydraulic pressure is in the allowed range and the accumulator fault is not set.
• Enable Conditions for Odd Clutch Electrovalve Leakage During Regulation: 
  • Vehicle is in stand-still condition (that means: engine on, first gear engaged, vehicle ready to move with the odd clutch near the engaging position).
  • Odd clutch electrovalve is the only one switched on.
  • Electro Pump is switched off.
  • Hydraulic fluid temperature is between a min/max value.
  • Hydraulic pressure is in the allowed range and the accumulator fault is not set.
• Enable Conditions for Even Clutch Electrovalve Leakage During Regulation: 
  • Vehicle is moving forward with 3rd or 5th gear engaged. In this condition the odd clutch is engaged and only the even clutch is in speed-tracking mode (that means that the even clutch is near the engaging position to increase its rotating speed but without engaging and without transmitting torque).
  • The Electro Pump is switched off.
  • Hydraulic fluid temperature is between a min/max value.
  • Hydraulic pressure is in the allowed range and the accumulator fault is not set.
• Enable Conditions for Gate Select Electrovalve Leakage During Regulation: 
  • Gate Select electrovalve self-tuning is in progress and the Gate Select actuator is moving. During self-tuning phase, the Transmission Control Module (TCM) performs an adaptive correction of the electrovalve current vs. position characteristic curve to account for the changing of the spring constant of the gate select actuator.
  • All other electrovalves are switched-off.
  • Electro Pump (EP) is switched-off.
  • Hydraulic Pressure Sensor has no fault and Shift Position Sensor has no fault.
