Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. With the scan tool, read Transmission Control Module (TCM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
2. Record the Event Data and Environmental Data.
3. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
4. Using the recorded Event and Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
5. With the scan tool, read TCM DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
CHECK FOR OTHER SENSOR DTCS
1. With the scan tool, read TCM DTCs.
  Are there other sensor or sensor power supply DTCs set?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the sensor or sensor power supply DTCs. Refer to the DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX - C635 DUAL DISC CLUTCH TRANSMISSION (DDCT) .
  No
  - Go To 3
CHECK (T406) PARK POSITION SENSOR SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN OR SHORT TO GROUND
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the TCM C1 harness connector.
3. Disconnect the Park Position Sensor harness connector.
4. Check the (T406) Park Position Sensor Signal circuit for an open or short to ground.
  Was an open or short to ground found?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the (T406) Park Position Sensor signal circuit for an open or short to ground.
  - Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to C635 DDCT TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 4
CHECK THE (T190) PARK POSITION SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT FOR AN OPEN
1. Disconnect the TCM C2 harness connector.
2. Measure the resistance of the (T190) Park Position Sensor ground circuit between the Park Position Sensor and the TCM C2 harness connector.
  Is the resistance above 3.0 Ohms?
  
  Yes
  - Repair the (T190) Park Position Sensor ground circuit for an open or high resistance.
  - Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to C635 DDCT TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Park Position Sensor in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to C635 DDCT TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST .
