Set Condition

Check 1:
- The odd clutch speed sensor output is equal to zero.
Check 2:
- The absolute value of the difference between the actual odd clutch speed sensor output and the previous odd clutch speed sensor output is greater than a threshold, this value is accumulated in an integral sum. The failure is detected if this integral sum is greater than a threshold within a calibrated amount of time.
Check 3:
- The failure is detected if the absolute value of the difference between the odd clutch speed sensor output and the engine speed via Controller Area Network (CAN) message is greater than a threshold and the absolute value of the difference between the odd clutch speed sensor output and the odd clutch speed that is estimated from driveline speed is greater than a threshold.
Check 4:
- The failure is detected if the absolute value of the difference between the odd clutch speed sensor output and the odd clutch speed that is estimated from the Antilock Brake System (ABS) wheel speed CAN message is greater than a threshold.
