Shift Interlock Cable - Removal






REMOVAL

1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
2. Remove the knee blockerKneeblocker - Removal.
3. Place ignition key in the ACC position.









4. Disconnect shift interlock cable (1) from ignition module.





5. Remove the lower silencing panel (3) and remove the cable from the instrument panel.
6. Remove the center console Shifter Housing - Removal.
7. Remove the cable clips from the center HVAC ducts.





8. Disconnect the shift interlock cable (1) from the shift mechanism. Release the retention tab (2) using a suitable screwdriver (3).
9. Remove the cable from the vehicle.
