Convertible Decklid

REMOVAL





1. Open decklid the conventional way.
2. Using a small flat blade (3) or equivalent, place under the steel clip ()2( and pry up away from the pivot ball (4).
3. At the same time you are prying up the steel clip (2), pull the prop end (1) away from the pivot ball (4).





4. Repeat 2 and 3 for the other ball and socket end of the gas prop.
5. Remove the gas prop from the decklid.
