Transmission Shifter - Installation

INSTALLATION










1. Install shift mechanism (1) into position. Install mechanism-to-floor pan nuts (2) and torque to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.).
2. Install gearshift cable (3) to shift mechanism (1).
3. Adjust gearshift cable.40TE Automatic Transaxle










4. Connect shift bezel lamp socket. Install shift bezel (1) and torque screws (2) to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.).










5. Install and secure BTSI cable to shift mechanism.
6. Adjust BTSI cable.40TE Automatic Transaxle










7. Install center console assembly.










8. Install gear shift knob, (1)torque set screw (2) to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
