Particulate Air Filter - Removal

REMOVAL






NOTE: LHD model shown. RHD model similar.

1. Remove the passenger side cowl grille screen Cowl Panel Cover - Removal.

NOTE: Complete removal of the windshield washer reservoir is not necessary. Position the reservoir out of the way just enough to allow access to the particulate air filter.

2. Remove the three bolts that secure the windshield washer reservoir to the body and position the washer reservoir out of the way Windshield Washer Reservoir - Removal.
3. Remove the particulate air filter (1) from the particulate air filter housing (2) by lifting the filter element up and out of the housing.
4. If required, remove the two bolts (3) that secure the particulate air filter housing to the cowl (4) and remove the housing.
