Thermostat Housing - Installation

THERMOSTAT HOUSING










1. Clean all gasket sealing surfaces.
2. Install thermostat. Engine Coolant Thermostat - Installation
3. Install gasket and housing (1). Tighten bolts (4) to 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.).
4. Turbocharger equipped vehicles:
- Connect A/C suction line to A/C compressor. A/C Suction Line - Installation
- Charge the refrigerant system.Refrigerant System Charge

5. Connect heater supply hose (3).
6. Connect engine coolant temperature sensor (2).
7. Fill cooling system.Service and Repair
8. Connect negative battery cable.
