Gas Prop - Removal

REMOVAL

NOTE: Right side of vehicle shown in the following illustrations. Left side similar.





1. Open the liftgate.
2. Support the liftgate with a suitable lifting device in the full open position.
3. Remove the pivot bolt (2) that secures each support rod (3) to the liftgate opening panel.





4. Remove the pivot bolt (3) that secures each support rod (2) to the liftgate (1) and remove the support rods.
