Gas Prop - Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Position each gas support rod (2) to the liftgate (1).
2. Install the pivot bolt (3) that secures each support rod to the liftgate. Tighten the pivot bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).





3. Position each gas support rod (2) to the liftgate opening (1).
4. Install the pivot bolt (3) that secures each support rod to the liftgate opening. Tighten the pivot bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
5. Remove the lifting device.
6. Verify liftgate operation.
