Horn System - Operation

OPERATION

The horn system operates on battery current received through the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM). The horn system circuit is designed so that the system will remain operational, regardless of the ignition switch position. The system is a dual horn design that operates on signals received by the TIPM over the Controller Area Network (CAN) data bus from the Cab Compartment Node (CCN), when the horn switch is pressed.
