Water Pump - Installation

3.5L ENGINE










1. Clean all O-ring surfaces on the pump and cover.
2. Apply Mopar(R) Dielectric Grease or the equivalent silicone grease to the O-ring to facilitate assembly. Install a new O-ring on water pump.
3. Position the water pump (3) to engine.
4. Install the mounting bolts and tighten to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.).
5. Install the timing belt Timing Belt & Sprockets - Installation.
6. Evacuate air and refill cooling system. Procedures
