Vibration Damper - Installation






INSTALLATION










1. Install damper using Special Tools 8179 (3) Screw, with Nut and Thrust Bearing from 6792, and 6792-1 Installer (2).
2. Install damper center bolt. Tighten center bolt to 170 Nm (125 ft. lbs.).
3. Install accessory drive belts Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.
4. Install belt splash shield and right front wheel.
5. Lower vehicle.
6. Connect negative battery cable.
