Inboard/Outboard Adjustment-Quarter Glass

  1. Raise the quarter glass to the full up position with the top fully closed.
  2. Check for gaps between the quarter glass and weatherstrips.
    NOTE: Rotating the quarter glass jack screws (1, 2 and 3) clockwise will move points one, two and three outboard respectively, counterclockwise will move the points inboard.
  3. Remove the quarter trim panel. See Body/Interior/PANEL, Quarter Trim - Removal .
  4. Loosen the jack screw set nuts.
  5. Rotate jackscrews to achieve the proper gap between the quarter glass, door glass, and top.
  6. Cycle quarter glass between full up and full down positions. Verify operation and adjust as necessary.
  7. Tighten the jack screw set nuts. Tighten to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
  8. Install the quarter trim panel. See Body/Interior/PANEL, Quarter Trim - Installation .
