Front Inboard/Outboard Glass Adjustment-Front Door

  1. Raise the windows to the full up position and close the doors with top fully closed.
  2. Inspect for gaps between the window and weatherstrips.
  3. Remove the door trim panel. See Body/Door - Front/PANEL, Door Trim - Removal .
  4. Remove the four access plug covers on the door module to gain access to the adjustment screws.
  5. Loosen glass attach bolt (1) approximately one full turn (360 deg) CCW. Do not over loosen, the glass should move with some effort.
    NOTE: 180 degrees of rotation on the cam equals 20mm of glass movement.
  6. If the glass must be adjusted inboard, rotate the jack screw counterclockwise (CCW).
  7. If the glass must be adjusted outboard, rotate the jack screw clockwise (CW).
  8. Once adjustments are made, tighten the glass attachment fastener to 8 N-m (71 in. lbs.).
  9. Close the door and verify adjustments, if more adjustments are necessary repeat steps 5-8.
  10. Install the four access plug covers on the door module.
  11. Install the door trim panel. See Body/Door - Front/PANEL, Door Trim - Installation .
