Fore/Aft And Up/Down Adjustment-Quarter Glass
NOTE:
All quarter glass adjustments are made at the same time. Verify all gaps and measurements before making any adjustments.
- Lower the quarter glass to half down position.
- Using masking tape or equivalent, place tape as shown (1).
- On the quarter glass (1), measure and mark two lines, one at 7mm and another at 11mm.
- Raise the quarter glass to the full up position. Verify the top line is not visible and the bottom line is visible.
- Verify the vertical gap between the quarter glass and front door glass measures 10±2mm.
- If adjustment of the quarter glass is required, remove the rear quarter trim panel. See Body/Interior/PANEL, Quarter Trim - Removal .
- Loosen the glass attachment fasteners (1) until the glass will move. Do not over loosen, the glass should move with some effort.
- Using hand pressure on the glass, adjust the quarter glass as needed.
- Once the adjustments have been made, tighten the glass attachment fasteners.
- Raise the quarter glass and verify the adjustments. Repeat steps 7-9 as necessary.
- Tighten the quarter glass attachment fasteners to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
- Install the quarter trim panel. See Body/Interior/PANEL, Quarter Trim - Installation .
