Fore/Aft Adjustment-Front Door

- Raise the windows to the full up position and close the doors with top fully closed.
- Inspect for failed gaps in the window and weatherstrips.
- If adjustment of the front door window is required, remove the front door trim panel. See Body/Door - Front/PANEL, Door Trim - Removal .
- Remove the four access plug covers on the door module to gain access to the adjustment screws.
- Loosen the front glass attachment fastener (1).

- Loosen the rear glass attachment fastener (2) until the glass will move. Do not over loosen, the glass should move with some effort.
- Adjust the glass by sliding it forward or backward, as required.
- Tighten the glass attachment fasteners to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
- Verify adjustment. Repeat steps 5-7 if more adjustment is required.
- Install the four access plug covers.
- Install the front door trim panel. See Body/Door - Front/PANEL, Door Trim - Installation .
