Front Inboard/Outboard Glass Adjustment-Front Door
- Raise the windows to the full up position and close the doors with top fully closed.
- Inspect for gaps between the window and weatherstrips.
- Remove the door trim panel. See Body/Door - Front/PANEL, Door Trim - Removal .
- Remove the four access plug covers on the door module to gain access to the adjustment screws.
- Loosen glass attach bolt (1) approximately one full turn (360 deg) CCW. Do not over loosen, the glass should move with some effort.NOTE: 180 degrees of rotation on the cam equals 20mm of glass movement.
- If the glass must be adjusted inboard, rotate the jack screw counterclockwise (CCW).
- If the glass must be adjusted outboard, rotate the jack screw clockwise (CW).
- Once adjustments are made, tighten the glass attachment fastener to 8 N-m (71 in. lbs.).
- Close the door and verify adjustments, if more adjustments are necessary repeat steps 5-8.
- Install the four access plug covers on the door module.
- Install the door trim panel. See Body/Door - Front/PANEL, Door Trim - Installation .
