Fore/Aft And Up/Down Adjustment-Quarter Glass

NOTE: All quarter glass adjustments are made at the same time. Verify all gaps and measurements before making any adjustments.
  1. Lower the quarter glass to half down position.
  2. Using masking tape or equivalent, place tape as shown (1).
  3. On the quarter glass (1), measure and mark two lines, one at 7mm and another at 11mm.
  4. Raise the quarter glass to the full up position. Verify the top line is not visible and the bottom line is visible.
  5. Verify the vertical gap between the quarter glass and front door glass measures 10±2mm.
  6. If adjustment of the quarter glass is required, remove the rear quarter trim panel. See Body/Interior/PANEL, Quarter Trim - Removal .

  7. Loosen the glass attachment fasteners (1) until the glass will move. Do not over loosen, the glass should move with some effort.
  8. Using hand pressure on the glass, adjust the quarter glass as needed.
  9. Once the adjustments have been made, tighten the glass attachment fasteners.
  10. Raise the quarter glass and verify the adjustments. Repeat steps 7-9 as necessary.
  11. Tighten the quarter glass attachment fasteners to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.).
  12. Install the quarter trim panel. See Body/Interior/PANEL, Quarter Trim - Installation .
