SWITCH, Oil Pressure: Removal: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Quick Reference/Hoisting - Standard Procedure
- Remove the splash shield from the right side frame rail. Refer to Body/Exterior/SHIELD, Splash - Removal
- If vehicle is equipped with an A/C compressor, remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Cooling/Accessory Drive/BELT, Serpentine - Removal
- Remove the three bolts (2) and reposition the A/C compressor (1), if equipped.
- Disconnect the oil pressure switch electrical connector.
- Remove the oil pressure switch using oil pressure socket C-4597 (1) or equivalent.
