Fluid Check

NOTE:
Just above the fill plug (2) is the factory fill plug, this is a rubber plug and should never be used to fill the transmission.
The fluid required for this transaxle is Mopar® ATF+4 (Automatic Transmission Fluid). Use of improper or substitute fluids can cause shift problems and/or transaxle failure.
- Insure the vehicle is level, remove the fill plug (2) and add fluid until the fluid just starts to trickle out of the fill plug.
- Reinstall fill plug (2) and tighten to 35 N-m (26 ft lbs).
