Coolant Supply Line

  1. Raise and support the vehicle on hoist.
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling - Standard Procedure .
  3. Remove the coolant hoses from the after run pump. Remove the hose at the pump to hose end. Do not remove the hose from the steel tube end.
  4. Remove the plastic clip to turbocharged housing screw.
  5. Remove the banjo bolt (3) from the coolant supply line at the turbocharger.
  6. Remove the coolant supply tube (4) from the brass fitting at the cylinder block. Hold brass fitting with a wrench to prevent it from spinning.
  7. If damaged, remove the brass fitting from the engine block.
