| 1 - MOUNTING NUTS 2 - CATALYTIC CONVERTER |
- Position the catalytic converter on the turbocharger. Loosely in stall the catalytic converter bracket bolts and the catalytic converter-to-turbocharger bolts.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5 - TORQUE PATTERN FOR CATALYTIC CONVERTER-TO-TURBOCHARGER BRACKET NUTS - Tighten the catalytic converter-to-turbocharger nuts to 15 N.m (132 in. lbs.) in the pattern shown in Fig 2.
- Tighten the catalytic converter-to-turbocharger bracket nuts to 58 N.m (42 ft. lbs.).
- Tighten the catalytic converter-to-turbocharger nuts to 26 N.m (230 in. lbs.) in the pattern shown in Fig 2.
1 - BOLT
2 - SUPPORT BRACKET - Install upstream oxygen sensor. Tighten sensor to 56 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).
- Connect upstream oxygen sensor electrical connector.
- Install downstream oxygen sensor. Tighten sensor to 56 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).

4 - TURBOCHARGER HEAT SHIELD - Install turbocharger heat shield.
- Install under floor catalytic converter. See Exhaust System/CONVERTER, Catalytic - Installation .
- Lower vehicle.
- Connect negative battery cable.
- Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks. Repair exhaust leaks as necessary.
- Check the exhaust system for contact with the body panels. Make the necessary adjustments, if needed.
