CABLE, Shift Interlock: Adjustments: Adjustment

- Remove shift knob and shift bezel. Refer to Body/Interior/BEZEL, Shifter - Removal .
- Remove two screws (1).
- Pull on side of housing (1) and unsnap housing tabs.
- Disconnect console housing wire connector (2) and instrument panel connector (3).
- Remove from vehicle.
- Adjust interlock cable/system as follows: Pry up on cable adjuster lock to release and allow cable to "self-adjust". Lock cable adjustment by pressing down on the adjuster lock until bottomed at the cable housing.
