Diesel Engine

- Clean all sealing surfaces.
- Position and install the thermostat housing (2). Tighten the bolts to 9N.m (80 lbs.in.).
- Connect coolant temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Install the generator. Refer to Electrical/Charging/GENERATOR - Installation .
- Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine - Installation .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Fill the coolant system to proper level with appropriate coolant mixture. See Cooling - Standard Procedure .
- Start the engine and inspect for leaks.
