MOTOR, Headlamp Leveling, Export: Removal: Removal

- Remove Front Lamp Unit. See Electrical/Lamps/Lighting - Exterior/UNIT, Front Lamp - Removal .
- Disconnect the headlamp leveling motor (2) electrical connector (1).
- Remove the one screw (3) retaining the horizontal adjustment assembly (2) to allow the motor to swing far enough to remove.
- Rotate leveling motor 1/4 turn counter-clockwise. This will free leveling motor housing from the headlamp unit (1).
- Pull leveling motor straight from headlamp unit (1). Significant force will be required to unsnap motor control arm from lens reflector.NOTE: The headlamp leveling motor control arm is snapped into the lens reflector mechanism very securely. Use a firm, steady pull to disengage motor arm from reflector.
- Remove leveling motor from front lamp unit.
