Instrument Panel

NOTE: LHD driver side air outlet shown. RHD and passenger side outlet similar.
NOTE: Take the proper precautions to protect the faces of the instrument panels and covers from cosmetic damage while performing this procedure.

  1. Depending on the air outlet being serviced, remove the steering column opening cover or the IP base panel. Refer to Body/Instrument Panel/COVER, Steering Column Opening - Removal or Body/Instrument Panel/PANEL, Instrument - Removal .
  2. Place the steering column opening cover or IP base panel on a workbench.
  3. Remove the four screws (1) that secure the air outlet (2) to the cover or panel (3) and remove the outlet.
