PAN, Oil: Installation: Installation

- Apply Mopar® Engine RTV GEN II at the oil pump to engine block parting lines (1)

1 - OIL FILTER 2 - OIL PAN GASKET 3 - OIL PAN 4 - ADAPTER GASKET 5 - OIL FILTER ADAPTER - Install oil pan gasket (2) to the block.
- Install oil pan (3). Tighten screws to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
- Install oil filter adapter (5) and gasket (4) . Tighten screws to 12 N.m (105 in. lbs.).
- Turbocharger Equipped Vehicles:
- Replace oil cooler seal
- Lubricate seal and position oil cooler to oil filter adapter, aligning notch to tab
- Install oil cooler connector bolt. Torque connector bolt to 55 N.m (41 ft. lbs.).
1 - OIL FILTER 2 - DRAIN PLUG - Install oil drain plug (2) and oil filter (1).
1 - TRANSAXLE 2 - STRUCTURAL COLLAR 3 - OIL PAN 4 - BENDING STRUT - Install structural collar (2). See Engine/Engine Block/COVER, Structural Dust - Installation .
1 - NUT 2 - PENCIL STRUT 3 - NUT 4 - FLAT WASHER 5 - LOWER TORQUE STRUT - Install lower torque strut (5). See Engine/Engine Mounting/STRUT, Torque - Installation .
- Turbocharger Equipped Vehicles:
Install turbocharger to charge air cooler hose assembly. See Engine/Turbocharger System/COOLER and HOSES, Charge Air - Installation .
1 - ENGINE OIL FILL 2 - COOLANT RECOVERY CONTAINER 3 - ENGINE OIL DIPSTICK 4 - COOLANT PRESSURE CAP - Lower vehicle and fill engine crankcase (1) with proper oil to correct level (3).
- Start engine and check for leaks.
