Fender, Front: Removal: Removal

  1. Remove the headlamp housing from the side of the vehicle being serviced. Refer to Electrical/Lamps/Lighting - Exterior/UNIT, Headlamp - Removal .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. If servicing the right front fender, remove the right side rail splash shield. See Body/Exterior/SHIELD, Splash - Removal .
  4. Remove the front wheelhouse splash shield from the side of the vehicle being serviced. See Body/Exterior/SHIELD, Splash - Removal .
  5. If servicing the right front fender, remove the antenna body and cable. Refer to Electrical/Audio and Video/BODY AND CABLE, Antenna - Removal .
  6. Remove the three fender to fascia nuts. Refer to Frame and Bumpers/Bumpers/FASCIA, Front - Removal .
  7. Remove the two bolts (4) that secure the bottom of the front fender (3) to the lower rocker panel.
  8. Remove the bolt (5) that secures rear of the front fender to the side cowl panel.
  9. Remove the nut (6) that secures the front of the front fender to the frame support bracket (7).
  10. Remove the three bolts (2) that secure the top of the front fender to the three spring nuts (1) and remove the fender.
